Ok, so Benefit makeup works a treat! They have an amazing range of cleverly designed products that genuinely do what they say on the tin. And that’s got to be the most important reason to love it, but what I really love, what makes Benefit cosmetics my first choice time and again is that they make me smile. It’s fun and it’s quirky and getting out my cute little boxes and bottles makes me happy (maybe I’m a bit sad…)! And that’s the whole point of the brand, to solve your beauty niggles and put you in a good mood at the same time. Yes, I might hate having dark circles under my eyes (sadly from getting up at the crack of dawn with a toddler, rather than from wild nights on the town…) but a bit of boing and I’m good to go!
Sure their cosmetics aren’t cheap, but you get what you pay for – products that work. How many times have you bought something only to find that it doesn’t look good on, you can still see your eye bags, or your new lipstick is gone within an hour? Exactly. And a little goes a long way, the idea with Benefit products is you just need a little, in the right places to achieve the look you want. You don’t need a cement-like layer of slap to look good, you need smart products that last.

Or you could go for full-on gloss with Her Glossiness VIP Lipgloss, for a glass like shine, without any stickiness. I don’t think you can beat Benefit lip gloss, the shine really lasts but it doesn’t feel sticky at all. But for a really glamorous look, when you want a more striking colour they’ve got a fab choice of lip pencils and lipsticks in the juiciest colours to suit any skin tone too – what more could you want?!.
Seriously, when it’s almost impossible to choose just one and I defy you not to come away with more than you meant to – I’ve never, ever managed it!
